Allsorts Challenge #780 - Spots and Stripes/ATG

 Hi Crafters,

It's my turn this week to choose the theme over on the Allsorts challenge blog.

I have gone with

SPOTS AND STRIPES

These papers were a magazine freebie a long time ago and I am determined to use lots of older stash that is taking up so much room. I have teamed them with two older stamp sets from Crafters Companion in the 'Just For Men' collection called Streetwise and Rock Star. I used my stamping platform to get a good print on the solid parts of the stamps.

Please check out the Design Team makes, there are lots of inspirational projects over on the challenge blog.

Prizes for the next few weeks are from Stampendous

Come and join in the fun with us, you have until midday Friday 17th May to enter.

Moving on to what is coming up very soon...we will be celebrating our 15th Birthday starting Saturday May 18th, you do not want to miss this special challenge. We have an enormous prize bundle from Aall & Create to share with our lucky winners.

Lots to look forward to but in the meantime, have a great week and see you again soon,

Crafts Galore Encore May Challenge #123 - Anything Goes

 Hi Crafters,

We are back again for another new month long challenge at Crafts Galore Encore. Starting today you have a whole month to create your projects and enter our 'Just For Fun' challenge with an Anything Goes theme, so free reign to make whatever you like.

I created my background using Distress Inks through a checkered stencil and added some detail stamping using a Creative Expressions stamp called 'Enigma'. The castle image was stamped on to a separate piece of card, fussy cut and adhered to my background. This was from a stamp set by Lindsay Mason called 'I Dreamed of Castles' along with the sentiment. Black card stock for mounting gives a bold frame for the zesty background.

Come and join in with us, the Design Team have been busy creating some very inspiring projects for you, take a look at them here on the challenge blog.

Take care,
Lorraine

Passion For Markers Challenge #737 - Feminine

 Hi Crafters,

Thank you for joining me for the start of the new challenge at Passion For Markers. This week it is my turn in the hostess chair and I have chosen the theme of

FEMININE

Hopefully we will have some nice weather soon to be able to relax out in the garden like our lovely lady is doing here. The image is from our Sponsor, The Paper Shelter and is called 'Hammock Days' which I have coloured with Copic markers. I have used some pretty pink floral paper from Papercraft House called Ditsy Florals together with my Tonic scalloped oval and square dies. The sentiment is a Creative Expressions shadow die.

who are offering 3 digital images to the lucky winner.

Allsorts Challenge #778 - Use a Stencil/ATG

 Hi Crafters,

Thank you for popping in today for the start of our new challenge at Allsorts.

This week we would like you to

USE A STENCIL

(you also have the ANYTHING GOES option of course)

I had a lot of fun creating a circular card a few weeks ago so I thought I'd do it again. I cut my base card using a set of Presscut Nesting Circle dies and added the yellow die cut layer (die from Ebay in a bundle so I have no idea of the name) then I inked the 'Heapza Hexagonz' #112 stencil from Aall & Create with Mustard Seed Distress Oxide ink, spritzed with water and 'printed' it on to a piece of white card which I then die cut with another circle die when it was dry. The Daffodils are a Two Red Robins die and vignette called 'Daffodil Dreams'. I stamped my sentiment (Hunkydory - Daffodils in the Sun stamp set) and added the enamel dots.

Prizes this week from Oakwood (2 x A5 stamp sets) and Highlight Crafts (3 x A5 stencils)

I hope you can find time to come and join in with us, I'm sure that you all have some stencils lying around that you can use. If not you could always make your own using dies and punches and just ink through them, so easy.

Please pop over to the challenge blog HERE for more inspiration from the Design Team.

Take care,
Lorraine

Allsorts Challenge #777 - Balloons/Anything Goes

 Hi Crafters,

I hope you've had a good week. It's Saturday again and that means a new challenge starting at Allsorts.

This week we have the fabulous theme of

BALLOONS / ATG

I'm trying to use up some of my older stash - it's amazing how much I have amassed over the years. This card uses papers from a very old 'Making Cards' magazine and the sentiment stamp was also a freebie on the front I believe. I used oval nesting dies to frame the image and some bakers twine for interest.

This week prizes are from AALL and Create

We'd love to see what you make using our theme but there is always the Anything Goes option too.

The design team have created a host of Balloon makes which you can find on the challenge blog HERE

Have a great weekend whatever you are up too.
